Fr Jose Pulinthanath is recuperating at AICUF Centre, Trivandrum. With his characterstic smile, he interacts pleasantly with care. He walks around with the help of a walker. Presently, he is supervising the repair works at AICUF house. When pain and days of helplessness seem far, he looks happy and radiant.

The cheerful Jose achan has many jokes about his sickness! Since his hair and beard is pretty much silverlined now, many visitors take a few moments to realize it is he. But many people do not recognize him and take him for someone else. It seems this has turned out to be a blessing when local 'fake' charity agents come round for 'bucket collection'. With smiles, Jose achan shared many such incidents when this reporter visited him on 12.08.2011 at AICUF house, Trivandrum.
