XAVIER THARAMEL FROM gERMANY

I have started the language program at the Akademie Klausenhof on 5 July and it is designed for two months. The Akademie Klausenhof is an International Institute for the German language studies run by the Diocese of Munster. The first year results of Heythrop College have been announced and I have progressed to the second year. It has been a wonderful experience for me to spend a couple of days in the J.R.S Community in Berlin. Fr Beckers, the Chaplin, presided over the solemn Mass on the Feast of St Ignatius in the Akademie Chapel. I was invited to join the celebrations on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Carmel followed by a sumptuous Dinner prepared by the C.M.C sisters. The get-together of the Keralites at the Akademie stirred up the spirit of enthusiasm. Hectic preparation is on for the Frankfurt University and the Akademie exams on 26 and 27 August.
