sameeksha, centre for indian spirituality, has been recognized by the m. g. university as a research centre, and dr v. c. george sj and dr stephen chundanthadathil sj have been approved as research guides. hereafter sameeksha can take research students for doctorate in the broad area of "philosophy." this is a great opportunity to develop the centre in terms of the "intellectual apostolate," to which the society gives prime importance. young jesuits and others could apply for research projects. sameeksha requests the members of the province to make the centre known to others holding an m.a. and to motivate them to do the doctorate.
